Dr. Vance LeCrone is committed to providing the highest quality patient care in a family friendly environment. He utilizes the most recent orthodontic technologies available to provide patients with the lifelong gift of a beautiful and functional smile. Dr. LeCrone attended Baylor University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and a Master of Clinical Gerontology. Following graduations, he attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his training, Dr. LeCrone was involved in several research projects dealing with cancer and dental materials. For these efforts, he was awarded The American Association of Dental Research Student Fellowship Award and The Student Research Achievement Award. For his strong academic standing in occlusion, he was also recognized with The American Equilibration Society Achievement Award.

He then entered a postgraduate General Practice Residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital and The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston. During his training, Dr. LeCrone worked in partnership with physicians and specialists treating many different types of patients. Following this residency, he then practiced general dentistry with The Medical Center Dental Group in Houston. He feels that this experience with general dentistry was invaluable and has enhanced his understanding of interdisciplinary care.

Dr. LeCrone completed his training in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he received a Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. While in his residency, he was chosen to serve as chief resident. He also produced two published articles in The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and The Texas Dental Journal.

Dr. LeCrone is an active member of many professional organizations, including the ADA, TDA, AAO, and the Southwest Society of Orthodontists. He has extensive training in functional and early treatment appliances, the Invisalign® system, the latest advances in frictionless bracket systems, as well as traditional and ceramic bracket systems. His emphasis is on non-extraction treatment that creates a more natural smile.
